Canadian Agricultural Partnership

The Canadian Agricultural Partnership is a 5-year, $3 billion investment by federal, provincial and territorial governments to help the agriculture and agri-food processing industry:

  • improve market development and access to address emerging needs and help expand domestic and international markets;
  • enhance competitiveness through research, science and innovation, with an emphasis on sustainable and clean growth;
  • strengthen by reflecting community diversity, enhancing collaboration, and securing public trust in the sector.

The Canadian Agricultural Partnership programming provides funding to help Yukon’s agriculture industry:

  • increase competitiveness, productivity or profitability
  • increase environmental sustainability
  • expand domestic and international markets and
  • improve the anticipation, mitigation and response to risks
