2009 North of 60° Agriculture Conference and Banquet

Friday and Saturday, November 6 & 7, 2009
High Country Inn, Whitehorse

Conference – Free of charge

The focus of this year’s conference is growing Yukon agriculture. Concepts such as the 100 Mile Diet and eating local have propelled public interest in Yukon Agriculture to a whole new level. The governments of Canada and Yukon have more funding available for industry then ever before. We are seeing more young people interested in a career in agriculture. Consumers want to know where their food comes from and we can grow some of it for them right at home. This year’s conference is trying to connect the dots to facilitate the opportunities in Yukon agriculture.
