Agriculture
Reclamation of Yukon Land
The objective of this program is the reclamation of Yukon land that has been impacted through agricultural activity and that poses a hazard to the environment or wildlife.
Eligible Activities
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
- removal of abandoned fences, vehicles, debris and garbage piles on agriculture titles and grazing leases; and
- removal or piling of organic materials is ineligible.
Eligible Applicants
Individuals, farm groups, cooperatives, non-profit organizations and governments.
Eligible Funding
Assistance may be provided up to 50% of project costs for individuals if in-kind contributions are included in the application and up to 60% if there are no in-kind contributions, up to 75% of project costs for cooperatives or farm groups, and up to 100% of project costs for non-profit organizations and governments.
