The Energy Strategy for Yukon details a long-term vision for the responsible development of energy resources for the benefit of Yukon's people, businesses and the environment.

Public Consultation
A draft Energy Strategy for Yukon was released for consultation on May 12, 2008.
A summary of the comments that were provided during the public consultation is available. The Summary of Comments

Technical Workshop
A group of representatives from governments, the private sector and non-profit organizations attended a technical workshop in November 2007 to discuss principles and priorities for the Energy Strategy.
