Yukon land for sale by lottery & tender

The Government of Yukon recently held 2 separate lotteries for lots in Grizzly Valley and the Dawson City area.

We are currently holding a lottery for lots for Silver Trail subdivision, north of the village of Mayo.


Grizzly Valley subdivision and Dawson land lotteries

  
The Government of Yukon recently held 2 separate lotteries for the following lots:

  1. 20 Country Residential lots in Phase 2 of the Grizzly Valley subdivision, north of Whitehorse.
      
  2. 2 Country Residential lots in the Dredge Pond subdivision, in Dawson City and 1 Rural Residential lot near Henderson Corner, close to Dawson City.

The lottery was held on Thursday, November 15, 2018.

  • If a lot is refused or forfeited the lot will be offered using the Draw list.
  • If Draw list applicants refuse a lot offered they forfeit their $300.
  • Once the Draw list has been declared null and void (approx. by Nov 29th), if applicants have not been offered a lot, will have their $300 dollar deposit returned.

General lottery information

  • Clients have 24 hours to accept the lot offered and 14 days (Nov 28, 2018) to supply the down payment.
  • If successful applicants refuse a lot, their $300 deposit is forfeited.
  • Unsold lot will be made available over the counter Nov 29, 2018.
   

Silver Trail subdivision lottery

  
The Government of Yukon is holding a land lottery for the following lots:

  • 18 Country Residential lots in the Silver Trail subdivision, near the Village of Mayo.

The deadline to enter is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018.

2. Submit your application before 4:30 on Friday, December 7, 2018, at:

3. The lottery draws is at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at:

Village of Mayo Council Chambers
Mayo, Yukon

    Attendance is not required but applicants and the general public are invited to attend.
  
4. Results will be available at the Land Management Branch and online by 12 p.m. on
    Wednesday, December 12, 2018.

    At the discretion of the Land Management Branch, lots not allocated through the
    lottery may be made available for sale over the counter at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday,
    December 27, 2018.
