Land Development Projects and Tentative Lottery/Tender Schedules
The following information is updated regularly and is subject to change as projects progress to completion.
Yukon Government held the Lottery for 71 Whitehorse Copper Country Residential Lots on Thursday October 9, 2008 at 9:00 am .One hundred fifty three people submitted applications, of which sixty eight were successful. The remaining three lots were not selected by applicants. Successful applicants have until 4:30 pm Thursday October 23 to pay a 20% deposit and full GST on the purchase price on the lots. On Friday October 24, 2008 lots which have not received full deposit or GST will be allocated according to priority established by the Eligibility List. Seventy-one applicants are on the Eligibility List.

In the McCrae West area (lots 1-19) there may be remnants of the old WWII Army Subdivision, Highway Camp and Relay Station. The area may include but is not limited to old valves, wooden valve boxes, old shallow wooden crib cellars, tin cans, scrap wood and metal, and other miscellaneous items on individual lots. Yukon Government opened tenders for 10 Mount Sima Industrial Lots on Thursday October 9, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Ten people submitted applications, of which five were successful. Successful applicants paid 20% deposit and full GST with their tender bids. The remaining five lots were not selected by applicants and were available over the counter at Lands Branch on Friday October 10, 2008.
