Rare mining publications donated
The EMR Library is welcoming the addition of over 1,000 rare and historical books, reports and other materials that have been donated by the Yukon Chamber of Mines.
The donation includes:
- over 500 Yukon-related publications from the Geological Survey of Canada;
- 200 new additions to the library’s rare books collection;
- unique reports on Yukon’s mining industry; and,
- several historical maps dating as far back as the early 1900s.
