Permanent Access Corridors (Pipeline Project Permits)

permanent roadAlong with access routes to the pipeline right-of-way (ROW), some facilities will be temporary while other permanent access will be required for ongoing operation and maintenance of key facilities such as compressor stations. Different levels of access will require different construction methods and standards. Activities on temporary access corridors typically include surveying, timber salvage, clearing, construction, transportation of people, goods and equipment, and ultimately reclamation and re-vegetation.

Permanent access requirements: compressor stations and strategic access locations along pipeline right-of-way.

Temporary access requirements: construction camp; wood, waste and fuel storage; powder magazine; build-up area and; quarry.
