Water Crossing (Pipeline Project Permits)

Water CrossingA linear project such as a pipeline can be expected to cross a large number of water bodies ranging from small streams to large rivers or lakes; these water bodies may or may not be fish bearing.

As well, there may be water crossings required to access the project. The methods proposed to cross these water bodies will dictate the regulatory authority required and under which conditions the activity may take place.
