Yukon Research and Demonstration

Yukon agriculture landThis initiative complements and advances agricultural research and demonstration programs in Yukon. Information generated by this research will be used to advance Yukon agriculture and provide advice to Yukon farmers, processors and agri-businesses in all aspects of farm management, production, processing, marketing, conservation techniques, new farm technology and farm financing.

Eligible activities

Activities may include, but are not limited to, activities involved in agriculture research program design, preparation, implementation and maintenance.

Eligible applicants

Individuals, farm groups, cooperatives, non-profit organizations, governments, educational institutions and research groups.

Eligible funding

Assistance may be provided for up to 100% of the actual costs of materials, supplies, tools and equipment, to a maximum of $10,000 per project, and for up to 50% of the actual costs for third-party labour and rental equipment, to a maximum of $10,000 per project.
