The Government of Yukon is holding a land lottery and tender for infill lots in Whitehorse.

2 lots in the Cowley Creek Subdivision are being offered through a lottery.

3 lots and 2 parcels in various Whitehorse neighbourhoods are being offered through a tender.

Deadline to enter is 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019. Lottery Draw and Tender Opening Monday, May 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m Elijah Smith Bldg (suite 1A).

Public engagement on regulatory approach to off-road vehicles

Public engagement is now open on the Government of Yukon’s proposed approach for regulating off-road vehicle use in Yukon. Yukoners are invited to share their feedback on the proposed approach from February 8 to April 8, 2019.


Scroggie Creek winter trail

Permit requirements have changed for heavy equipment travel on the Scroggie Creek winter trail. A Land Use Permit is now required from the Land Management Branch. A permit from the department of Highways & Public Works is no longer required. Heavy equipment includes vehicles exceeding 5 ton net weight or vehicles exerting a ground pressure in excess of 35 kPa.

Quarry permits for designated
public pits

Quarry Permits for granular material from designated public pits can be acquired from your local Compliance Monitoring & Inspections District Office. Yukon residents are eligible for up to 35 cubic metres of material for personal use at no charge.
