What We Do - Land Planning

We assist rural communities that are located outside of municipalities with:

• Developing community plans and new zoning regulations
• Processing rezoning applications under the Area Development Act  253 KB
• Processing subdivision applications under the Subdivision Act  210 KB

We want to ensure safe and orderly development within Yukon's rural communities.

A community mapping program complements our planning services by maintaining a legal survey database and air & ortho photography library of most Yukon communities.

Land planning advisory services are available to individuals, organizations, municipalities and First Nation governments.
